Folks, our Freshley Overalls are F’in magical. Containing the signature Dovetail Workwear “stretch sauce,” these overalls are designed to fit and move on every body while bending, digging, painting, or shearing. Freshley is a full-body toolbox of nested pockets for stashing seeds, brushes, pliers, and phones. The bib pocket includes a genius eyelet—fancy language for “twine hole”—through which to run twine for tying up the tomatoes, or to hold your fine-gauge wire spool. Did we mention it looks damn good on?

We are stoked to work with our friends at Tuk Tuk in India, who made these wabash overalls. A WRAP Platinum facility partnered with Intermode, Tuk Tuk is a sustainability star, milling gorgeous fabrics onsite as well as making them into clothes. Also onsite, Tuk Tuk's organic veg garden provides lunches for workers.

  • Fabric content: 98% organic cotton / 2% spandex

    • You got 'em dirty, now get 'em clean.

    • Fasten all hardware.
    • Turn inside out.
    • Wash cold.
    • Hang dry. If you must tumble, tumble low to damp dry.

    For overalls, fasten all hardware. We recommend buttoning the strap clasps to the top hip buttons and underneath the hip buttonholes, so the metal fasteners don’t bang around in your machines and break (or keep you up all night).

    We get it's tempting to wash those dirty shortalls in hot water and tumble dry the hell out of them. But like any high-quality tool, this one will last longer with TLC. Heat messes with our special stretch sauces and secret weatherizing potions. And it can shrink, warp, and otherwise damage the fine fabrics that make Dovetail Workwear sturdy, comfortable, and tough on the job. So for a long life, wash cold, and hang dry or tumble low. The planet will thank you too.

    Flower farm fit check!

    Freshley overalls offer a comfortable fit in a lightweight fabric. Plenty of pockets but little bulk. The shoulder straps are 2.5” too long but that’s an easy fix with a bit of hand sewing. Two days in my Freshley’s and I am all in. Perfect overall for comfort and coverage on warm days.

    Love my Overalls

    Great for Beekeeping!

    Very happy with this purchase. Wanted something to wear while beekeeping with my bee jacket. Love these - tons of pockets, stretch, durability, loose enough that I can move around and not have to worry about pulling up pants. Fit a woman’s body (Carhartt overalls gave me a weird wedgie/loose crotch situation)!! Haven’t been stung thru them, either. I think they run a bit small. I’m 5’7” and 172 lbs - originally ordered a 12, but returned for a 14, 32” inseam. Exchange was easy and the 14 fits perfectly. Super comfy and tempted to get another pair!
